The super-grip clamp holds even thick materials at any required angle and the clear rule along the cutting line allows easy alignment to artwork, lines or registration marks.

The ingenious, indexed turret, mounted on sliding head #1 , simply turns to lock any one of three cutting tools in its selected operating position, quickly, with no screws to loosen or tools to find. Everything is where it is needed when it is needed. A patented, twin wheel cutter is mounted on sliding head #2. This easily cuts hardboard, masonite, MDF and heavy backing boards in one pass, with minimum effort, no distortion and no dust.

  • Fully inspected and tested at all stages of manufacture and assembly, Excalibur is shipped with the squaring arm removed and can be assembled rapidly in your studio or workshop without any skills or special tools.
  • Installation is easy with Excalibur's unique, one piece squaring arm, which guarantees straightness along its entire length.
  • A single thumbscrew will quickly and permanently adjust the Excalibur perfectly square at the time of installation.
  • Accurate square cutting is maintained by hardened steel rubbing strips set in the squaring arm, which resist the worst abrasion, even for glass.
  • Positive clamping with strong, rigid backing boards on both sides of the cut line give extra security when cutting and handling large sheet materials.
  • A smooth sliding counterbalance operates safely out of the way and will support either cutting head for easy, fatigue free working throughout the day. When released, the balanced cutting head will stay exactly in the last position ready for the next operation.
  • The adjustable high performance linear bearings are guaranteed for 20 years and precisely control the sliding heads on a smooth rigid slideway to give square cuts every time.
  • Excalibur is available with a free standing option, enabling the machine to be installed in the most efficient workshop location.
